About Us
Meet the AquaBuddies
At AquaBuddies, we are a team of passionate, industry-qualified instructors who genuinely care about every child we teach. All of our team hold current CPR and First Aid certificates, and every AquaBuddy completes dedicated training hours at our pools before teaching independently.
With experience working with children of all ages, we focus on small groups so we can build real confidence, create genuine connections and make every lesson safe, fun and personal.

Meet Bianca
Bianca founded AquaBuddies Swim School in 2009 with a simple vision: to help children learn to swim and develop water safety skills in a warm, personalised environment. By keeping classes small and focusing on each child as an individual, she created a calm, boutique alternative to busy commercial pools.

In 2011, AquaBuddies expanded to Wairoa School in North Bondi, offering small class sizes in a boutique setting. It was here that Bianca developed the AquaBuddies Approach, a progressive program for children aged 3 to 10 that builds strong foundations and confident swimmers.

A former national level swimmer, Bianca is an Austswim qualified instructor and assessor specialising in Infant and Preschool Aquatics and Competitive Strokes. She leads a passionate team dedicated to positive, encouraging learn to swim experiences.

“I still get a thrill every time I see a child swim on their own for the first time. It’s the most rewarding moment and reinforces why we do what we do”
