Rip Ready Sport Camp – Terms & Conditions

What to Bring
Participants should wear:

Comfortable sports clothing suitable for active play

Enclosed sports shoes

Swimmers underneath clothing where possible

A hat for outdoor activities

Sunscreen applied before arrival

For water safety activities, children may be asked to participate in clothing-based rescue and survival exercises. Please bring:

An old set of lightweight clothes (e.g. shorts and t-shirt) that can get wet

A towel

A change of clothes

Healthy morning tea and lunch
Canteen Available
A canteen will be available during the day with snacks and drinks available for purchase. We encourage families to pack a healthy lunch and snacks, particularly for children with dietary requirements.

Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information at the time of booking, including:

Any medications required during the day must be supplied in original packaging and clearly labelled with the child's name and dosage instructions.

AquaBuddies Swim School reserves the right to refuse participation if important medical information has not been disclosed.
Electronic Sign In & Sign Out / Drop Off & Collection
For the safety of all participants:

Children must be electronically signed in and signed out each day by a parent/guardian or authorised nominee.

Photo identification may be requested when collecting a child.

Children will only be released to authorised contacts listed on the enrolment form.

A car park is available for families at the top of the school to allow for safe drop-off and collection of children. Please follow all signage and directions provided by staff.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is signed in before leaving the premises and signed out upon collection.

Please ensure all clothing, towels, lunch boxes, drink bottles and personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name. AquaBuddies Swim School cannot be held responsible for lost property.
Booking & Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the camp start date will receive a credit or refund less any booking fees.

Cancellations within 7 days of the camp start date are non-refundable.
-
No refunds or credits will be provided for missed days, late arrivals, early departures, illness, change of mind or failure to attend.

If AquaBuddies Swim School is required to cancel a session, families will receive a full refund or credit.

Extended Care (3:00pm – 6:00pm)
Extended Care is available for an additional fee and must be booked in advance.
Extended Care Conditions

Extended Care operates from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Children must be collected by 6:00pm.
-
Late collection fees may apply.

Children attending Extended Care must bring sufficient food and water for the extended period or purchase items from the canteen.

Activities during Extended Care may include supervised games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, movies and quiet activities.

Risk Acknowledgement & Limitation of Liability
Participation in the Rip Ready Sport Camp involves physical activities including swimming, water safety exercises, sports, games and outdoor activities. While AquaBuddies Swim School takes all reasonable precautions to provide a safe and supervised environment, participation in these activities carries an inherent risk of injury.

By enrolling their child, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that AquaBuddies Swim School, its directors, employees and contractors will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising from participation in the program, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or where caused by negligence.
​
Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless AquaBuddies Swim School from claims arising from a participant's failure to follow instructions, unsafe behaviour, or undisclosed medical conditions.
Medical Treatment Authorisation
In the event of an accident, injury or medical emergency, AquaBuddies Swim School may seek medical treatment for a participant if a parent/guardian or emergency contact cannot be reached immediately.

Any medical, ambulance or related expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Swimming Ability
Participants will take part in water-based activities appropriate to their age and ability. Parents/guardians acknowledge that while activities are supervised, AquaBuddies Swim School cannot guarantee a participant's safety if instructions are not followed.

Parents/guardians must accurately disclose their child's swimming ability and any relevant medical or behavioural conditions at the time of enrolment.

Behaviour Expectations
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants, children are expected to:

Participate appropriately in activities
AquaBuddies Swim School reserves the right to contact parents and arrange collection of a participant whose behaviour poses a risk to themselves, other children or staff.
Photography & Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during camp activities for AquaBuddies Swim School marketing purposes unless families advise us in writing that they do not consent.
